I love your videos, mostly because you read pieces of your own and others aloud to us. There is nothing like being read to as a way to say, I love this and I think you might, too. And you interrupt yourself just as Maxwell does, which is a delight. Good lord, we live in a time where the dearth of delight threatens to be the death of us all, so I get it where I can, and I always get it here with you, thinking aloud and reading sentences that are your own delights to share.
Michael, how wonderful listening to you read the essay (which is a marvel) & the letter, another marvel. I love listening to your rambles. Pls don't stop. I kept this to enjoy after a jaunt into NYC which more and more exhausts me so this was respite. Like you, I was a letter writer & wrote to people I knew pages and pages sort of the way I wrote in my journal. I remember one recipient saying they didn't understand or couldn't follow what I was saying but thanked me anyway. I once wrote to Gore Vidal. He didn't answer. Ha. I still love the epistolary form and have written stories using it. I think of your verbal essays as letters from you to us. I hope you don't quit. You've a real talent for chat. and we do have to survive day by day in this insanity. I decided to stop drinking in November partially because of physical bs (elderly bladder biz) & my mate's impending retirement (Hera help me!) and I'm so delighted NOT to be anesthetizing with Delirium Tremens at the helm. Lastly, thank you for the introduction to Maxwell. Read on๐ท๐ผ๐ณ๐ถ๏ธ๐๏ธ
